Abubakar alleges plot by APC to kidnap him for supporting Ize-Iyamu

By Gabriel Enogholase
A group, Abubakar Momoh Solidarity Movement has said that it has uncovered a plot by agents of the APC to either assassinate, kidnap, abduct or maim its leader, Engr. Abubakar Momoh and key members of the movement following his recent declaration of support for Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.
It would be recalled that last week, Mr. Abubakar Momoh led over 50,000 people across Edo North Senatorial District to declare support for Pastor Ize-Iyamu at a ceremony held in Auchi, the administrative headquarters of Etsako West local government area.
The group in a statement yesterday in Benin signed by Ibrahim Mohammed said, “We have it on record authoritatively that the APC has recruited some unknown thugs to get Hon. Momoh Abubakar out of his way at all cost who is now seen as his major obstacle in delivering Edo North to his party APC.
In his rabid desperation to achieve this sinister and dastardly act, the Governor has energized the Police to fish out anything incriminating to rope Momoh in.
